Taking place on the weekend of March 5, 2010 at the luxurious Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort and Diamond Peak Ski Resort, 12 companies buy a team of 8 slots. Each team is paired with a Special Olympics athlete and a celebrity from your favorite TV shows or movies.  The festivities begin on Friday evening with the “Let the Games Begin” reception.  Saturday, the public is invited to come to watch the competition as corporate teams, along with their celebrity and Special Olympics athlete race toe to toe down the race course at Diamond Peak Ski Resort.  The event concludes on Sunday with “Plungefest”, an opportunity for brave souls with warm hearts to raise additional funds for Special Olympics by taking a quick “dip” in the chilly waters of Lake Tahoe, along with the celebrities and corporate teams.
